Live for justice

I wanted to write a positive song about justice and living a life of compassion
The verses of this song come from the very famous prayer of St Francis of Assisi
The chorus is a declaration which includes the well know verse from Micah 6:8.
“And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

The style is very groove based and the version on the web site features an additional rap section!

below are the lyrics for 'Live for Justice'

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there’s hatred, let me sow your love
Where there’s injury, may I bring pardon;
Where there’s doubt, a faith from heaven above
Where there is despair, may I bring hope, Lord
Where there’s darkness, let me show your light;

I will live for justice
For Freedom
For everyone across all the world
In my life show justice
Compassion
Love mercy and walk humbly with God

Lord, may all my life be lived in service
Reaching out where I can do some good
In a world of hunger and oppression
Help me have the servant heart I should
Where there is despair, may I bring hope, Lord
Where there’s sadness let me bring your joy
