We can make a difference
One of the themes I have tried to keep forefront in the Christmas projects we have done is a sense of awareness of poverty issues and what can be done about them. This song, which started as a Christmas based one but also has non-seasonal lyric, says that we can make a difference in this world. It encourages us to go out and make a difference - ‘God has commanded to love one another – actions to show that we care’
IT is the first song we co-wrote with Josh, our eldest son (currently 15 years old). Josh and I worked on the music and chorus lyric hook then I sat down with Wendy for an intensive evening of crafting the verses. We wrote the non-seasonal lyrics soon after when people asked if there was a version they could use for other events – harvest services etc.

Christmas is
